 Black Catholics for Life

Celebrate the Birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The National Black Catholic Apostolate for Life is inviting Black Catholics for Life to celebrate the national holiday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 2003, by witnessing his commitment to non-violence and the dignity and respect for all human life.

“ Black Catholics for Life will honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. not by a host of speeches, but by our service to our sisters and brothers throughout the world.  Let our commitment to the sacredness of life become the lasting tribute that we make to our brother Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. For I believe that by our actions someone will know that Dr. King’s message of hope, liberation and life continues to live through us”, stated Franciscan Father Jim Goode, President of the National Black Catholic Apostolate for Life.

The Board of Consultants of the National Black Catholic Apostolate for Life suggests that our commemoration to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 2003, include the following activities:
